Crisis Intervention Program
Our Crisis Intervention Workers provide 24-hour support to the women and children in our shelter, and they respond to people calling our Crisis Line.
Our goal is to help the women and children who stay with us to feel welcome and safe, and to support them as they identify their needs. This includes:
- Providing a safe and secure shelter for abused women and their children
- Encouraging and supporting them to access community resources, to assist them with their individual basic needs
- Providing 24-hour crisis support to shelter residents and community individuals who are affected by domestic violence
- Providing up to date information pertaining to domestic violence issues
