Outreach Program

The Camrose Women's Shelter Outreach Program provides support to women and families who have stayed in shelter and those in the community who are affected by domestic violence. The program also provides one on one support for woman transitioning out of shelter with regards to budgeting, safety planning, community referrals and help setting up a new home.

The Outreach Worker will meet to discuss barriers experienced when leaving an abusive relationship, can provide information on the different forms of abuse and provde support  for attending groups offered at the shelter or by other resource groups in the community.
